Sky Sports to air Major League Cricket live from 2026 season
Sky Sports will exclusively broadcast the fourth season of Major League Cricket in the UK and Ireland, starting June 18, 2026.

Sky Sports has secured exclusive live broadcast rights for the 2026 season of Major League Cricket (MLC), the premier T20 competition in the United States. The deal will bring the league's fourth season to viewers in the UK and Ireland, beginning on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
The announcement marks a significant expansion of Sky Sports’ cricket coverage, adding an emerging overseas tournament to its existing portfolio of domestic and international matches. Major League Cricket has grown rapidly since its launch, attracting international stars and investment, and will feature players such as Steve Smith, Ravi Ashwin, and Finn Allen in its upcoming season.
What the MLC broadcast deal includes
- 34 matches across the 2026 season, starting at Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas.
- Matches also scheduled at Oakland Coliseum in California and the LA Knight Riders Cricket Ground in Pomona, the latter a venue for cricket at the 2028 Olympics.
- Six teams competing: MI New York, Texas Super Kings, Los Angeles Knight Riders, San Francisco Unicorns, Seattle Orcas, and Washington Freedom.
Sky Sports Director of Cricket Bryan Henderson MBE welcomed the addition, stating that MLC has quickly become one of the most exciting emerging competitions in global cricket. The broadcaster aims to showcase the continued growth of T20 cricket in the United States through this partnership.
The MLC coverage will complement Sky Sports’ existing summer schedule of T20, Test, and One Day international cricket. Fans can also stream the matches via the NOW service.
