Raducanu and Boulter set for double duty at Queen's
British duo reach last eight, will play twice on Friday after rain delay.
Emma Raducanu and Katie Boulter both secured quarter-final places at the Queen's Club Championships, setting up a busy Friday where they will each play twice due to Thursday's rain cancellation.
Raducanu earned her first win over a top-20 opponent in over a year by defeating world number 18 Sorana Cirstea 6-4 6-2. The victory avenged a loss to the Romanian in the Transylvania Open final earlier this year.
Boulter needed just 67 minutes to beat Jaqueline Cristian 6-1 6-3. She will next face top seed Elena Rybakina, who came from a set down to defeat defending champion Tatjana Maria.
Raducanu will face Kamilla Rakhimova for a semifinal spot after the Uzbek player defeated Britain's Harriet Dart in three sets. The former US Open champion had not won back-to-back matches since February.
All four quarter-finals will be played on Friday after no play was possible on Thursday due to persistent rain in London.
