Lewis Hamilton ends F1 win drought with Spanish GP victory for Ferrari
Hamilton secures first Ferrari Grand Prix win, ending 686-day wait, ahead of Russell and Norris.

Lewis Hamilton secured his first Formula 1 race win as a Ferrari driver at the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona on Sunday, ending a 686-day drought since his last Sunday victory.
The seven-time world champion finished ahead of George Russell of Mercedes and Lando Norris of McLaren. It marked Hamilton's first main race win since the 2024 Belgian Grand Prix, where he was promoted to first after teammate Russell's disqualification.
Historic achievement
Hamilton becomes the first British driver to win a Grand Prix for Ferrari since Eddie Irvine at the 1999 Malaysian Grand Prix. The 41-year-old has also closed the gap to championship leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli to 40 points.
Hamilton's previous on-track victory before Sunday came at the 2024 British Grand Prix. He has adapted quickly to Ferrari, also winning the 2025 Chinese Sprint race earlier this season.
