John Fury rejects £1m Carl Froch fight, demanded £2.5m
John Fury turned down a £1 million offer to fight Carl Froch, insisting he wants £2.5 million.

John Fury has revealed he rejected a £1 million offer to fight Carl Froch, stating he demanded £2.5 million instead.
The 61-year-old father of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has been engaged in a long-running feud with former super middleweight champion Froch, 48.
Fury Sr on the offer
Speaking to Pro Boxing Fans, Fury Sr said: "I asked them for £2.5 million sterling, they didn't come back to me. They offered me a million quid. By the time I pay tax and everybody else, it's not enough."
Froch's response
Froch had previously claimed Fury Sr made "unreasonable demands" and blocked the fight by trying to involve his other son, Tommy Fury, in the event.
- Fury Sr confronted Froch at Tyson Fury's press conference earlier this year.
- Misfits Boxing made the initial seven-figure offer.
- Fury Sr insists he brings 'different stuff' to the game and knows his worth.
The proposed bout would have been held under the Misfits Boxing banner, but negotiations ultimately fell through.
