The Philadelphia native, fighting under the 'Boots' moniker, showed his power early, dropping Zayas in the first round. Zayas rallied in the third and fourth, landing right hands that backed Ennis to the ropes, but Ennis regained control in the fifth, dropping Zayas again. The seventh-round barrage of left hooks sealed the victory, marking Ennis's 32nd career knockout.
