Raducanu Falls to Vekic in Queen's Final
Emma Raducanu was defeated 6-0, 7-6(6) by Donna Vekic in the Queen's Club final.

Emma Raducanu's wait for a second career title continues after she lost the final of the Queen's Club Championships to Croatia's Donna Vekic. The 23-year-old Briton was beaten 6-0, 7-6(6) in her third tour-level final, having won the 2021 US Open but lost in Cluj earlier this year.
Vekic, a lucky loser who entered the main draw after Marta Kostyuk withdrew, dominated the first set in under 30 minutes as Raducanu appeared hampered by a leg issue. The British number one fought back to lead by a double break in the second set but could not serve out the set, eventually losing the tie-break after saving four championship points.
Despite the defeat, Raducanu will rise to near the top 30 in the rankings, potentially securing a seeded spot at Wimbledon. She described the week as 'incredible' and will take confidence from her grass-court form into the year's third major.
