Fulham in advanced talks with Alvaro Arbeloa to replace Marco Silva
Fulham have entered advanced negotiations with former Real Madrid interim manager Alvaro Arbeloa to become their new head coach.

Fulham have initiated advanced discussions with Alvaro Arbeloa to take over as head coach, following Marco Silva's departure. The 40-year-old former Real Madrid interim boss is now the frontrunner for the role.
Other candidates considered
The west London club had previously targeted Kieran McKenna, but the Ipswich Town manager announced his resignation, citing a break from management. Fulham have also held talks with Frank Lampard, currently at Coventry City, and Portuguese coach Hugo Oliveira. Former Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has been discussed but his openness to the role remains unclear.
Separately, Ipswich Town are seeking a successor to McKenna. Former Wolves and Bournemouth boss Gary O'Neil, currently at Strasbourg, has emerged as a candidate.
Both clubs are in the market for new managers as the summer window approaches.
